Technical description:
Scoured bluestone skirtings - 1.5 or 2 cm thick and 30 or 40 cm length - have a scoured top face, and a bottom surface, a back surface and 3 sawn edges.
The 'Scoured' finish refers to a smooth surface with light circular marks created by mechanical surfacing, either dry with carborundum, diamond or similar abrasives, or wet with diamond dressing plates. Up to a grain size of G60, the finish is said to be roughened (FEPA international numbering).
Notes:
- For skirtings of 2 cm thick: other lengths are available with a maximum of 60 cm.
